Silent Valley Alpaca is a professionally-run full-time alpaca farm based in Eastern Ontario. Alpaca owners Hanne and Robert Quigley specialize in breeding for champion alpacas while practicing and teaching best-in-class alpaca husbandry, care, health maintenance, and alpaca herd management.

Since the earliest days of Canada's nascent alpaca industry, they have dedicated themselves to pioneering industry initiatives, establishing best practices, fostering education opportunities to new and experienced ranchers, and providing their clients with best-in-class support while raising alpacas of exceptional quality.

From day one our focus has been on breeding our alpacas with an emphasis on genetic diversity, conformational excellence, excellent fibre quality, and calm temperament. The outstanding pedigree of our alpaca herd is built on the highest-quality, research-based animal husbandry and best practices in the industry. With genetics from champion alpacas including (Snowmass Invincible's) Latigo, Qolemesa Archemides, Accoyo America Kilauea, and High Plains Highkurumba, we offer outstanding alpacas to enhance your breeding program or to start your herd.

Silent Valley Alpaca offers our carefully selected foundation females, outstanding herd sires, and their offspring for individual sale or personalized packages. As part of our philosophy, we offer our clients 360-degrees of support and service. From the initial stages of learning about raising alpacas to the care, maintenance, and growth of their herds, we are there every step of the way to provide a guiding hand where needed.

We have a long history of producing superior breeding-quality alpacas with higher fleece weights, low micron, and solid colour. Our herd consists of an excellent diversity of genetics. We put major emphasis on breeding for excellent conformation while maintaining the following critically important reproductive traits: abundance of milk, easy to rebreed, and quiet, gentle personality. All of our bred females are sold with live birth guarantees.

When you're considering making improvements to your herd or even when starting a new farm, one of the most important factors will be the retention of a superior herdsire. A championship-quality sire from Silent Valley Alpaca can provide extraordinary genetic qualities in fleece density, fibre fineness, colour, and conformation, as well as personality and temperament.
