Silent Valley Alpaca is a professionally-run full-time alpaca farm based in Eastern Ontario. Alpaca owners Hanne and Robert Quigley specialize in breeding for champion alpacas while practicing and teaching best-in-class alpaca husbandry, care, health maintenance, and alpaca herd management.
Since the earliest days of Canada's nascent alpaca industry, they have dedicated themselves to pioneering industry initiatives, establishing best practices, fostering education opportunities to new and experienced ranchers, and providing their clients with best-in-class support while raising alpacas of exceptional quality.
With Winter just around the corner the alpacas get just a bit excited about events happening at the ranch.

We Are Redirecting Our Business
At Silent Valley Alpaca, we currently manage a retired herd of alpacas.
We've changed our focus, and are no longer active in the alpaca breeding program.
We will continue to offer beautiful alpaca products at our farm gate store, and Hanne will still offer felting and fleece workshops throughout the year.
Every day has been an adventure. It's been a labour of love since 2001.We have learned much and are grateful to the many alpacas who have touched our hearts. We are especially thankful for our clients, our friends, our veterinarian (Steve Scott) and of course our family.
